Cast Your Vote: Bigfoot vs. The Wolf Man

In part two of the Halloween Week polls, I invite you to think back to those great old horror movies…you know, back before horror equaled blood and guts. In the ’30s and ’40s, Universal Studios pumped out some of the best horror films of all time. Who can forget Bela Lugosi as Dracula, or Boris Karloff as Frankestein’s monster and the mummy, or Lon Cheney, Jr. as the Wolf Man.

What about that Wolf Man? We all know Lon Cheney, Jr., no longer skulks in the woods. But do werewolves creep among the shadows, stalking wayward humans? Curt Siodmak—writer of the original werewolf movie, The Wolf Man—invented the folklore spoken of in the movie to craft a more dramatic story. But genuine legends of werewolves extend back deep into history, and sightings continue to this day. So, I want to know what Bigfoot Quest readers think about the other hairy, manlike beast that haunts the countryside.
